    Furnaces, fired heaters and incinerators

    Linde Engineering?s in-depth experience in industrial furnaces and fired heaters enables us to deliver sophisticated solutions for a wide range of manufacturers and industries.

    We design and supply furnaces, fired heaters and incinerators as custom-built, turnkey plants or as plant components. These products are mainly used in the petrochemical, refining, gas processing, steel, and environmental engineering industries.

    The principle design of furnaces and fired heaters consists of a fire box with radiant coils, a convection zone for flue gas heat recovery, a stack, fan(s) and auxiliary components. The recovered flue gas heat is used for feed preheating or steam production.

    The flue gases leave the heater via stack to ambient air and fulfill local emission regulations. If necessary, we can help achieve a material change in feed chemistry.

    Incinerators are needed when fluid or gaseous wastes have to be eliminated by combustion.
